You may be surprised with this post, I'm here to inform about toxics in our homes but since I'm Peruvian, I wanted to share with you one of my favorites dishes, here's the receipe and if you want to see how it looks like, you can click on the link! That picture is not mine, but it can give you and idea of what you are going to eat, hope you like it!

Sauteed Beef Tenderloin:

Yields 6 portions

1 pound of beef tenderloin
salt, pepper, cummin
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
2 red onions cut in stripes
1 garlic clove
1 green chile cut in stripes (very thin ones)
2 Tspoons of vinager
2 tomatoes cut in triangles
1 Tspoon parsley chopped
1 pound of potatoes (cut as french fries)
Vegetable oil

In a big souce pan heat the oil, fry the meat cut in 1 inch by 1/2 inch pieces , add salt, cummin and pepper and oregano. When the meat is fried (but not overcooked) take it out and set aside, in the same pan and oil, add the onions, garlic, chile and vinager. Cook for a about 3 minutes, add tomatoes and mix well, put the meat back in the sauce pan and add the parsley.
Fry the potatoes in abundant hot oil and when they are ready, add them to the meat and vegetables.
We serve this dish with white rice.

Here's the link so you can have an idea of how this dish looks:

A Responsible Society

Last January, The Massachusetts Senate passed the Safer Alternative Bill ,they propose replacing the toxic components for safer alternatives (www.healthytomorrow.org).
It's very good to see that people are becoming more and more committed ,responsible and concern about our health and with our environment.
I think every State should imitate this initiative, take a look at this video, you will be surprised to see how many chemicals are found in people's bodies, of course the more affected: The Children.

We Can't Trust "Organic" Products Only Because They Use The Word "Organic"

It looks like we can not trust anybody, Oh no!, please make your own research each time you buy your cleaning products, the organic word in the labels doesn't guarantee you that they are safer for your home.
This article will explain more clearly what I'm saying:
